Ardh Sainik Welfare Trust (ASWT) has taken an initiative to support the resettlement of retired paramilitary personnel and their family members. It aims to help them find suitable work, develop additional skills and explore the best available options in society.
Individuals should identify their own aptitude before choosing a second career. ASWT is committed to creating opportunities for re-employment and entrepreneurship for paramilitary personnel and helping them pursue those ambitions.
Ardh Sainik Canteen Stores: The Concept
Starting or planning a business can be challenging for force personnel. Yet, many have experience with in-house operations such as master and subsidiary canteens, Quarter Master stores and MT stores during their service. The Trust seeks to build on that experience by offering ready-to-work opportunities to personnel and their family members.
The Ardh Sainik Canteen Stores concept offers an opportunity to start a canteen store in a person's home town, similar to a subsidiary canteen. The store operator can serve local customers with original and genuine products while building a livelihood after service.
People place their trust in soldiers. Through a local canteen store, personnel and their families can continue to serve the community. The store operator's responsibility is to support customers with care, respect and a commitment to their satisfaction.
